Our Mission

An Important Part Of Our Mission Is To Provide Support To The Local Church. We Will To Join In A "Team Effort" With Local Churches That Share The Same Passion For Outreach & Discipleship. 

We Provide Both The Time & Labor At No Financial Cost To The Church.  All That Is Required Of Church Leaders Is A Willingness To Provide Leadership To The Church Family By Promoting Involvement In The Classes. These Classes Can Be Added To The Small Group Options Provided In Your Church. 

Class Sizes Have Generally Ranged Between One To Fourteen Students. In The Case Of "New Beginnings" Most Sessions Are One-On-One Or Individual Targeted In Order To Better Address The Needs Of The Individual.  

Even Though Our Passion Is That As Many As Possible Respond To A Class, The Growth Of Each Person In Their Spiritual Walk Is More Important Than The Number In The Class.  

There Is Not An Expectation That Large Numbers Will Immediately Sign Up For IBS Classes.  If Only A Few Respond After Concerted Effort Then We Consider The Efforts A Success Because Each Person Who Responds, Even If It Is Just One, Is Worth The Effort.  The Spiritual Growth Of That One Person Or The Few Will Be The Seeds Of Encouragement To Others To Engage In Accountable Discipleship.

When Leaders Have A Vision About A Ministry Direction, The Led Will Give It Consideration And Some Will Actually Get On Board And Follow The Vision. Without Genuine Effort And A Vision To Make Disciples Through IBS By The Leadership It Is Unlikely To Receive Any Response From The Church Family.

We All Respond In A Positive Way To Multiple Options.  The Fact That God Did Not Make Everyone The Same Is A Clue That All Will Not Respond In The Same Way To The Options In The Church.  The IBS Program Can Be Promoted As Another Option, Alongside The Existing Options, For Spiritual Growth.  IBS Classes May Not Be The Choice For Everyone But They Will Be A Consideration For Those Who Have An Appetite To Be Challenged In Their Spiritual Growth. 

THE PROMOTION SCHEDULE RECOMMENDED FOR CONSIDERATION:

NEW BEGINNINGS (Four Sessions): 

• SCHEDULE: There Are Two Options Provided - The One-On-One Option With A "Flexible" As Requested Schedule. The Group Option Which Is Scheduled For Four Weeks In January. 
• PROMOTION: The One-On-One Or "Individual" Option Should Be On A Continual Promotion So That Those Who Are Open To A "Fresh" Or "New" Start Know That It is Available. It Is Also A Reminder To Believers Who Have Someone In Their Sphere Of Relationships That They Can Direct Them To New Beginnings For Outreach Support.
• PROMOTION: The Group Session Is Directed To Believers Who Want To Be Trained In The "Bible Study Evangelism" Method Which Is Conducted One Day Each Week In January For Four Sessions. The Promotion For This Class Should Start The First Week Of December & Continue Each Week Until The Class Starts In January.  

CHRISTIAN FOUNDATIONS (Ten Sessions):

• SCHEDULE: There Are Two Cycles For This Class. One Starts The Second Week Of September. The Other Starts The First Week Of February.
• PROMOTION: Promotion Should Start A Minimum Of One Month Prior To The Beginning Of Each Cycle. August For The September Class & January For The February Class.

LOGOS MASTERY - 1 PETER (Twenty Sessions):

• SCHEDULE: Offered Once Each Year Starting On The Second Week Of September.
• PROMOTION: This Class Requires The Student To Complete A 16-20 Hour "MP Seminars Boot Camp" Prior To The First Class.  To Allow Ample Time For Students To Complete The Pre-Class Assignment Promotion Of The Class Will Need To Start In Mid-July & Continue To The First Week Of September.

AMAZING DOCTRINES OF THE FAITH (Twenty Sessions):

• SCHEDULE: This Class Is Offered Every Other Year & Begins The Second Week Of September. Offer Date Sept. 2024 
• PROMOTION: Promotion Should Start Mid-July & Continue To The First Week Of September.

JOURNEY THROUGH THE LIVING WORD (Twenty Sessions):

• SCHEDULE: This Class Is Offered Every Other Year & Begins The Second Week Of September. Offer Date Sept. 2025
• PROMOTION: Promotion Should Start Mid-July & Continue To The First Week Of September.  Students Are Asked To Begin The Initial Bible Reading Assignment Prior To The First Class So Enrollment Is Best Completed At Least Two Weeks Prior To The Second Week Of September.

SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS CAN BE UTILIZED TO PROMOTE IBS:

PUBLIC PROMOTION:

• Provide A Verbal Explanation Of IBS Classes During The Main Service For The Suggested "Promotion Time Periods" Provided In The Answer To The Previous Question.  A Different Class Can Be Highlighted Each Week While Reinforcing Information About The Other Classes.

WRITTEN PROMOTION:

• Place Information, With Details,  About The Classes In The Bulletin, On The Church Website, On The Information Screen With Other Announcements & Through Other Channels Normally Used To Communicate Information To The Church Family.
• Include The IBS Classes As "Small Group Options" In The Same Manner You Promote Other Groups.

PERSONAL PROMOTION:

• Make A List Of Believers In The Body Who Have An Above Average Spiritual Appetite To Grow Then Talk To Them Personally About IBS Options.

Leaders Best Understand Their Church & The Steps It Takes To Communicate & Motivate So Take What You Know & Understand Then Apply it To Creating A Vision & Response By Your Church Family.

To Have So Many Responses From People Interested In Making A "New" Or "Fresh" Start That It Becomes A Scheduling Challenge Would Be Considered A Blessing.  There Is No Greater Blessing Than To Be A "Midwife" In The Spiritual Birth Process Brought Into Reality By The Lord.

The Reason For The "Group" Session Is To Train Other Believers To Provide A "Team Effort" By Applying The Knowledge & Tools Received In The Group Session To Provide Leadership For Those Requesting Individual Sessions.  The Blessing Will Flow Not Only To The One Being Discipled But Also To The One Who Is Discipling.  Disciples Making Disciples - Amazing & Encouraging!
