The trajectory of my whole life, and the life of my family, has been changed due to Dr. Walson and his heart for evangelism and discipleship.  When I was twenty nine, he introduced me to Jesus Christ, Who became my Lord and Savior.  I began to attend Dr. Walson's church and was immediately mentored and therefore didn’t spend long as a baby Christian. Now, thirty years later, he continues to impact my life, introducing me to the Logos Bible Program. I never imagined that I could implement language tools, workflows, and excellent commentaries to open up deeper meaning, as I study my Bible.  I have completed every class Dr. Walson has offered. It has not only led to increased maturity in my spiritual life, but is also precious to the ladies I lead in our Precept Ministries Inductive studies in my current church as they are amazed when I share with them the voice, tense and mood of the Greek manuscripts.  The time invested has been so worthwhile, Dr. Walson’s studies continue to motivate me and hold me accountable. He leads with wisdom and understanding. It is a gift to be able to sit under his teaching. I can give no higher recommendation for his classes and his instruction.

Having taken most of the classes offered by Dr. Bill Walson I have found that my knowledge of the Bible has increased greatly. More importantly, my love for Jesus and my heart encounters with Him have increased dramatically. I see the importance of reading the Bible through every year, learning how to use the inductive method of analyzing verses, and praying scripture. Dr. Walson utilizes Zoom to conduct the Bible Studies which is very convenient and Logos which is an amazing computer program that offers infinite tools at the touch of your finger! I love the videos he uses to show us different historical insights of the ancient world and the videos explaining the books of the Bible. 

I would strongly recommend the classes to anyone who is serious about studying God’s Word and learning methods which will serve you well your entire life. God bless your study!

It has been my privilege to study under Dr. Bill Walson for many years. When he was our pastor, he took me on outreach missions, had us prepare to be lay shepherds and constantly encouraged us to be more diligent in pursuit of our spiritual growth.

I have, under his current ministry, taken the Logos software training, the Logos Mastery  I Peter class and completed Journey Thru the Word (which is the entire Bible in a year)!

Dr. Walson taught us to apply Scripture reading to our heart and not just to our head. He has always been a source of encouragement to grow more in my faith and would warn against allowing complacency to dominate my spiritual walk with the Lord.

These IBS classes are life changing and I encourage anyone to explore them. They taught me to be more disciplined in my personal study of the Living Word.

 Taking the Logos Mastery/1 Peter Study transformed my life and walk with God. Bill uses his teaching and mentoring gifts to edify and teach the word of God “with all wisdom” Col 1:28; channeling God's grace to equip, educate, encourage, and inspire students to grow and mature in their faith; to identify and use their gifts to honor God and serve each other. One key point I learned is that I am not here just to develop my own spiritual life, or to enjoy spiritual retirement, but I am here to realize Jesus Christ so that the Body of Christ may be built up. I am on a trajectory to complete all the IBS classes which have changed the course of my life.  As a new Christian 32 years ago, I was privileged to be able to attend in person the Institute of Biblical Studies classes at Living Hope Community Church where I served as a Lay Pastor. These courses not only built my faith, they laid a firm foundation for my walk with the Lord Jesus to this day. I recently was reconnected with these studies by taking the Logos Mastery 1 Peter class. It is a course that helped me become proficient with the Logos program and I can’t imagine using anything else but Logos for doing my Bible Studies and preparing for leading small groups. The course is intense and requires a lot effort to complete, but the results have made an immense impact on my spiritual life which is worth all the personal effort. I highly recommend this course and am looking forward to taking other IBS courses in the near future.
